Veeam makes strategic leadership appointments Veeam® Software has appointed three new leaders: Nick McAlister as channel director UKI, Charbel Zreiby as channel director EMEA East, and Roman Brandl as enterprise channel director EMEA. Nick brings more than 20 years of experience in partner network development and enterprise channel management across EMEA, including senior roles at VMware. Charbel has more than two decades of IT sector expertise, driving channel strategies across Turkey, the Middle East and Africa. He previously held leadership positions at Dell Technologies. Roman Brandl’s background centres on supporting large pan-EMEA partners and driving enterprise channel success for leading IT vendors. “Veeam is setting a new standard for what partnership means in the data resilience space,” said Kinda Baydoun, Veeam’s senior director of EMEA Channel Sales. “With Nick, Charbel and Roman on board, we’re doubling down on SaaS transformation, leading the way in enterprise data resilience, and ensuring our ecosystem has the innovation and support needed to thrive. “With the addition of these veteran channel leaders, we are reaffirming our commitment to our partners and customers. GTIA has appointed Alicia Shepherd as regional community manager for the UK & Ireland. Alicia is an award-winning channel and community leader with more than 30 years’ experience across distribution, SaaS, vendor ecosystems and ITSP communities. Prior to joining GTIA, Alicia was director of partner engagement at Terra Computer UK, where she spent the past nine years building and strengthening Terra’s partner community, driving measurable growth, deeper engagement and stronger commercial outcomes. In her new role, Alicia will focus on growing and strengthening the GTIA UK & Ireland community by attracting new ITSP members, increasing vendor engagement and ecosystem value, driving greater utilisation of GTIA member benefits and programmes and ensuring members are maximising tangible value from their membership. Alicia’s appointment supports GTIA’s wider strategy of expanding its ITSP community, delivering stronger vendor value, and increasing engagement across Alicia Shepherd takes up GTIA role
