Public performance The UK public sector is worth billions, so for resellers and MSPs there are plenty of potentially lucrative opportunities in this market – but only if they can access it and then ensure they provide what organisations require.

The UK public sector is a huge market, with more than 21,000 contracts awarded in 2025 via frameworks, dynamic markets or dynamic purchasing systems (DPS) worth more than £46 billion. This means there are huge opportunities for resellers and managed service providers (MPS) if they can get into this market. “The UK public sector represents one of the most significant technology markets available to channel partners,” says Richard Eglon, CMO at Nebula Global Services. “With government departments, local authorities, NHS trusts, educational institutions and other public bodies collectively spending billions each year on technology and services, the opportunity for resellers and MSPs is undeniable. “For many years, public sector procurement has been perceived as complex, resource-intensive and often difficult for smaller providers to navigate. While frameworks remain one of the most established routes to market, today’s procurement landscape is evolving, creating new opportunities for partners of all sizes.” Frameworks Kevin Butterworth, housing sales specialist at Infinity Group, says that frameworks remain one of the most effective routes because they provide buyers with a compliant and recognised procurement mechanism. “However,
