Intuit appoints leader for UK mid-market and partner channel business

Intuit has appointed Glen Foster to lead its UK Mid-Market and Partner Channel business, as the fintech group increases its investment in the UK and expands QuickBooks into a broader AI-powered business platform. Glen brings nearly 20 years of experience across accounting and financial technology. He joined Xero as its sixth UK employee and spent 12.5 years helping scale the business before ultimately leading EMEA go-to- market, followed by senior roles at Dext and Sleek. His appointment comes as Intuit expands its UK proposition around Intuit Intelligence, the intelligence layer embedded across its platform that combines AI,

to automate tasks, surface insights and support decision-making. The company is also targeting businesses further into the mid-market, positioning QuickBooks and its wider Intuit platform as an alternative to fragmented point solutions by bringing finance, customer, payroll and other workflows together in one environment. “There are few periods in this industry when the technology and the competitive landscape change at the same time, and that is what makes the opportunity at Intuit so interesting,” said Glen. “Intuit has significant ambition for the UK and I’m excited by the opportunity to help turn that ambition into growth. But the starting point remains the same: listen to customers, understand what they need and then deliver.” n
