The printers are here, and they want cartridges Since the 2020 lockdowns, the channel has been hit by a backlog of laser printer orders. Those orders are finally hitting the proverbial shelves,

increasing in the past quarter, in line with the boom of machines on the market. Now that there are more printers in the channel than in the past two years, cartridges are selling at an increased rate more than double than at the start of the year. In the following months, as printer stock tapers down to its Christmas slump, cartridge sales are expected to keep growing. As historical trends have settled, these sales are expected to grow by 34% to reach its peak in mid-December as offices stock up for the year to come. A decreasing amount of toner stock has already been recorded over the past month at a pace of 11% but the channel should be ready to accomodate this.
