Advania UK has appointed James Hardy as chief executive officer, succeeding Geoff Kneen, who is stepping down after more than eight years with the company. James brings more than two decades of leadership experience in IT services. He spent 18 years at CCS Media before becoming group chief commercial officer at Advania UK. James has deep knowledge of the UK market, strong customer focus, and a proven ability to scale businesses. "This is the right moment for Advania UK to take the next step,” said Hege Støre, CEO of Advania Group. “We have successfully brought together four companies into one unified business, and now we have all the capabilities and vendor relationships needed to manage clients' entire IT spend. Northamber plc has appointed Ian Kilpatrick as a non-executive director, as the company sharpens its focus on value-added services, cybersecurity and international expansion. A respected entrepreneur with more than 40 years of IT and channel experience, Ian founded Wick Hill, one of the UK’s original value-added distributors specialising in cybersecurity. He led the company through sustained growth before its acquisition by Nuvias Group in 2015, where he helped scale operations across Europe.
