Exertis promotes Sutherland to sales director
Jonathan Sutherland has been named by Exertis as sales director – retail, in a move which expands his remit to cover all Consumer Sales. Jonathan has been at Exertis for 14 years and has held the role of sales and commercial director for Microsoft and Gaming, based in Exertis’ Harlow office, for the past 18 months. One of the focuses of Jonathan’s new role will be to amplify and accelerate cohesive working practices between the Basingstoke and Harlow sales teams. “I am excited to get started in my new role and looking forward to working with the excellent teams in Basingstoke and Harlow,” said Jonathan. “As
we move forward with one retail team, it will allow us to use the wide skill set that we have across all product areas, to deliver an even better service to our customers and vendors.” Mike Buley, Exertis’ chief of sales, added: “The teams at Harlow and Basingstoke will now report to Jonathan, who already has strong relationships with many of our customers. His leadership across Consumer will ensure we benefit from best practices across both Basingstoke and Harlow Consumer Sales teams, driven by his people-first approach and an easier escalation path for our customers. I wish Jonathan every success in his expanded role.”

Boardroom reshuffle at Nectere
Nectere has announced a reshuffle of its board, with Mike O’Reilly and Paul Musgrove appointed as managing director and chairman respectively. Mike takes over as MD from Paul, who has taken on the role of chairman. “I am really pleased to be able to give Mike the recognition he deserves,” said Paul. “In recent years, Nectere’s growth has not only resulted in our achievements of 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain and 1000 Fastest Growing Companies in Europe but has allowed us to successfully weather COVID and now return to growth. “It is now time to restructure the Nectere board to provide the range and depth of experience we
require to continue our positive growth into new product categories and to maintain our leading edge systems. Mike has proved key in our success to date and I know our dealers and suppliers join me in congratulating Mike on his new role.” Mike added: “It’s a great time to take the helm. We have big plans for new markets and the growth areas so critical to our independent dealers.
