Aside from representing just one component of a much wider opportunity and discussion around a customer’s critical infrastructure needs, UPSs provide the potential for ongoing revenue streams – everything from extended warranty to periodic refresh. Other considerations include room / rack cooling, power distribution, and software / managements products to ensure that IT assets are visible, easily managed, running efficiently and with maximum uptime. To enhance this, Vertiv supports any application with an extensive service offering including installation, start-up, commissioning, maintenance, replacements, 24/7 remote monitoring and diagnostics and much more. Our remote diagnostics and preventive monitoring Vertiv™ LIFE™ Service adds value providing real-time information to make informed decisions, as it allows early detection of anomalies and immediate reaction in case of alarms. Q7: How will the introduction of Vertiv™ 3phs in the Channel increase opportunities for Partners? The bigger the need for power, the higher the likelihood that end customers need Three Phase UPS to support their critical applications. Vertiv has a comprehensive range of 3ph UPS available and accessible to our channel partners. These systems represent an opportunity for both transactional SKU’s (standard, less complex opportunities) to higher ‘touch’ projects involving a turnkey approach - often incorporating more specialist delivery, installation, start-up, project management and ongoing service maintenance revenue. Vertiv is the Global leader in 3ph UPS systems and support services and we are excited to be able to offer this to our channel partners!
