Crestron bolsters workplace portfolio Crestron Electronics unveiled its largest expansion of the Crestron Digital Workplace portfolio yet, introducing a range of hybrid meeting solutions including Crestron Desk Q and Desk Touch for desk scheduling, Crestron Flex Pods, and the Crestron Videobar 70. With a focus on revolutionising the modern workplace, Crestron aims to provide seamless experiences across every room, regardless of size or function. The company addresses the essential role of hybrid meetings in today's business landscape and offers comprehensive solutions that can be easily integrated without relying on multiple vendors. The new products cater to various workplace needs, from scheduling to audiovisual collaboration, ensuring a productive and welcoming office environment. Big three team up for better experience Cisco, Microsoft and Samsung have collaborated to announce new meeting room solutions aimed at enhancing collaboration experiences for hybrid meetings.

These solutions include integrated video collaboration solutions for the Cisco Room Series, featuring the Front Row layout for Microsoft Teams Rooms displayed on Samsung's newly unveiled 105” Smart Signage or 4K Smart Signage screens.

The goal is to deliver seamless and inclusive meetings, addressing the increasing demand for high-quality audio and video in meeting spaces. The partnership aims to provide immersive views, advanced AI-powered collaboration, simplified management and deployment, increased scalability and seamless interoperability. Key benefits include lifelike, immersive meeting experiences, advanced camera and audio capabilities, simplified management through Microsoft Teams Admin Center and Cisco Control Hub, and seamless interoperability between Microsoft Teams and Webex meetings. The products are generally available, with Cisco's support for 21:9 displays starting in March.

Boom shine with Halo Boom Collaboration showcased its latest innovation, the Boom HALO intelligent video bar at the ISE. The HALO features a 4K UHD camera, a six-microphone array and high-fidelity speakers, offering a comprehensive collaboration experience. It can be expanded with up to eight additional speakers for larger rooms. Advanced features include facial recognition, speaker tracking, noise reduction and AI auto-framing. Boom also presented other products like the MAGNA Pro camera, GOJO

camera controller, and the ZYGO connectivity hub. Additionally, Boom teased a new PTZ camera with 25x optical zoom and NDI video over IP support. Boom highlighted its commitment to delivering better meetings and emphasised its growth plans for 2024. The company aims to maintain its friendly approach to video conferencing and foster lasting partnerships through distribution channels. The ISE event served as a launchpad for Boom's future success, attracting significant interest from attendees.
