For many employees, their desk and chair is where they spend most of their working time. Therefore, it should be optimised for comfort to ensure they can work as productively as possible – and if it isn’t, the consequences can be serious for the employee and the business. Matt Nuttall, marketing executive at Fellowes, says that getting the right ergonomic furniture for employees, both in the office and those who work at home, is more important than ever. “Despite hybrid working being firmly established, many employees still lack properly optimised workspaces,” he says. “Fellowes research found that 76% of workers purchase at least some of their own workplace equipment, highlighting a gap between employee needs and employer provision. Poor ergonomics can
