They can do this without having to make any up-front investment or take on the burden of support. It removes the risk from the partner, while allowing them to grow their business.” Flexibility is something that SYNAXON places great emphasis on, both for employees and partner organisations. “SYNAXON is all about flexibility and agile working, as well as automation and efficiency,” says Miguel. “We also give everyone a voice and that is very important to us. We hire people mainly to benefit from their knowledge, so it’s more fun for everyone and we are much more successful than if only one person is involved.” Forward with optimism While SYNAXON is in a good place, Miguel is also optimistic about the wider channel. “The channel is doing extremely well, and as businesses continue to digitally transform and invest to drive efficiency and automation, we expect resellers and MSPs to flourish even more in 2023,” he says. That said, there are wider economic challenges, and resellers need to find ways to increase efficiency and scale their businesses, Miguel adds. “For example, by standardising and automating more, and by partnering with SYNAXON and using our services. struggle to grow,” he says. “This is where being able to call on a larger partner with an established and professional back office will really help.” Other trends that Miguel foresees in the channel this year are that investment in digitalisation will increase. “This is essential because without that, businesses won’t be able to keep up with their competitors who have already transformed,” he says. “The skills shortage will also drive businesses to invest more time and effort in standardisation and automation to remain competitive.” The skills shortage will also drive M&A activity in the IT sector, Miguel adds, as larger organisations buy up smaller rivals to acquire their skills and knowledge. The wider drive towards consolidation will also be a major factor. There will be several significant announcements from SYNAXON in 2023, Miguel adds. “We are currently working on expanding our portfolio by offering additional project support to our partners,” he says. “They will be able to draw on even more of our expertise for advice on upcoming projects, and we will also offer to negotiate the best prices on specific solutions.

“We will also be expanding the number of vendor certifications

we maintain. This is an important aspect of our

service for many partners. If we get vendor–certified, our partners don’t have to, and we can perform the relevant tasks within any individual project on their behalf. This means that they can compete more effectively, regardless of the size of their business.”
