Tanium appoints new SVP of global partner sales

Tanium has appointed industry veteran Tony Beller to its channel team. As senior vice president of global partner sales, Tony will be responsible for leading the company’s next phase of channel growth and expanding a robust service provider and partner ecosystem that spans global system integrators, MSPs and distribution partners. As former Cloud Software Group (Citrix & TIBCO) senior vice president, Tony was responsible for overseeing the emerging market territories comprising Latin America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Japan and ANZ and managing enterprise, commercial accounts and channels. Prior to this, he helped Anaplan build a strategic partner ecosystem that drove more than 45% of the partner business globally and launched new go- to-market channels globally. Tony has also led channel teams and global initiatives at ServiceNow and Salesforce, and held various executive positions at Taleo, Oracle and PeopleSoft. “Partners are a key pillar of our strategic growth strategy and play a pivotal role

TD SYNNEX announces new Advanced Solutions UK&I MD

TD SYNNEX has announced that Simon Bennett, currently senior director, enterprise software and cloud, UK and Ireland, is being promoted to managing director, Advanced Solutions, UK&I. Simon will take up his position when the current managing director, Matt Child, moves into his new role leading TD SYNNEX’s European digital strategy in December. Simon has been with the company since the 2009 acquisition of SDG, where he was an internal sales and operations manager. He then developed his career with TD SYNNEX from sales general manager to business unit director and, since 2019, has been senior director of enterprise software and cloud in Advanced Solutions. He brings a range of hybrid technology and infrastructure vendor experience, having been responsible in his previous business unit director roles for Dell Technologies, IBM, Lenovo DCG and Nutanix. Simon also has great experience in enterprise software and cloud vendors, including VMware, Citrix,

Veeam, Veritas, Open Text and Adobe and also hyperscalers like Microsoft, AWS, Google and Oracle. Simon said he was “really excited” to be taking on his new role. “Over the last four years, Matt has built a fantastic team with incredible depth of capability,” he said. “He has established the Advanced Solutions business as a leader in the enablement and aggregation of emerging technologies and a genuinely trusted advisor for channel partners. I look forward to continuing and building on that success and taking the business into the next exciting phase of its development.” Matt added: “I know that I am handing the reins over to someone who, as well as possessing tremendous energy and drive, being full of ideas and a talent for inspiring others, is also a clear and incisive strategic thinker.
